is a small company dedicated to providing Low Cost, Easy to Tune Fuel Injection
computers for automobile and gasoline engines. I started SGD Electronics
in 1996 after wanting to add fuel injection to one of my cars. I had found
the intake manifolds used, but was having an impossible time finding the
electronics to support it for a factory system. I considered aftermarket
systems but found them to be too expensive and the ones that worked well
required a trained expert to tune properly. I had also asked many people
at car shows why they did not run EFI and they told me that it was too
expensive and complex. So being an Electrical Engineer and a Car hobbyist,
I decided to tackle the solution my self. The end result was SGD Electronics.
I have come up with one first test model of which I have sold several.
Of those who have purchased this first model, they have said that it ran
well and was easier to use than many other brands for a non experienced
person. This is my whole goal for the company. I want any one who can install
a radio to be able to install and tune fuel injection on their car. Development
is currently under way for my first full production model of EFI control. |
