April 10th was a sad day for M*A*S*H fans. As we all came together to mourn the passing of one of the most unique actor and charater of the mash onsomble. Linville is the second TV M*A*S*H actor to pass away after Mclean Stevenson suffered a heart attack
Larry Linville played Major Frank Burns on the hit TV series M*A*S*H. He made an "Impossable role possiable". Playing the weaslely, sniveling "Ferret Face " for the five seasons of the the eleven season series.
``My scenes with Loretta were quite extraordinary because we were a team,'' he said in a taped interview aired on CBS radio. ''We were Mutt and Jeff, Roadrunner and Coyote, whatever, we were a proper pair.''
Linville, who had a cancerous lung removed two years ago, was readmitted to the hospital April 10th suffering from complications from pneumonia
