The 34-year old rock star, who topped the charts with her single "Professional Widow", wore white make-up and a flowing light blue dress with a cape for her marriage to sound engineer Mark Hawley, 33, at the Church of St Lawrence.

Reverend Martin Gillham, who married the couple, said the church was packed with 170 guests, many of whom were dressed in dark velvet suits and capes. After the service he said: "Both Tori and Mark did very well. They were both relaxed and confident throughout the service - and Tori looked radiant and very beautiful."

"We had a very good rehearsal the day before and everything went according to plan."

Many of the crowd waited outside the church until after the service to catch a glimpse of the newly-weds.

After the service, guests were served hot punch by waiters dressed in monks' outfits while the couple posed for photographers.

The happy couple left the church in a carriage drawn by to jet black horses.
