Here are magical Items I have created and are using in my campaign.
Troll Terror Shield
This shield is made of a dark green metal, it looks like a regular target
shield.
This shield gives a +6 defence against trolls, and Ogres. When confronting
goblins the Gamemaster should flip over a card from the fate deck. If the
card is over 5 the goblin runs in fear, if not he stays and fights.
This shield makes the wearer look like a troll, to all humanoid races. (this
includes most party members, except centaurs.
Ogre Bracelet
This is a unique bracelet. It looks like a plain, crudely made Steel
bracelet.
Upon an examination, it is revealed that there are 2 words on the bottom, the
problem is the words are in Ogre.(The character has to understand Ogre to
read{probably from background})
The words, translated into common, are Melt, and Freeze.
When the wearer utters the word melt(pronounced right in Ogre) the bracelet
melts into a clay substance.
It can then be molded into anything that the player wants to mold it into.
Upon uttering the word Freeze(In Ogre) the bracelet hardens into whatever form
it is now in.
Dagger of Cain
(I made this dagger off a magical Item in the "Heroes of the Lance" Box set.
I forget the name the box set gave it.)
This Dagger has a +5 rating. It however is cursed. When ever the dagger is
used for a Vengeful purpose, or a blatant act of Cruelty, it starts to change
the wielders nature. The More act's he commits the more his Nature changes.
It changes towards "Sadistic, and Paranoid".
The welder of the dagger cannot give it away. For it will come back to him.
However the dagger can be stolen form the Wielder. If, and When this happens
the dagger calls for it's past master to come and find it. If the dagger is
within 100 miles of the past wielder. Make him put down a card. If the card
is over 5 he will go into a frenzy and try to get towards the dagger, for the
number of rounds the card he put down. If the Dagger is within 100 yds. of
the original wielder, he must search for it no matter what. (You can change
this effect some to suit the campaign)(For instance good role-players would
react accordingly, and in a good manner without card play)
