2.) Scott Arfin: Lead bass guitars, and songwriting.

3.) Eric Weisenfeld: Lead electric guitar and vocals.

4.) David Rothschild: A groupie, as well as backup musician and assorted nonsense vocals!

Type of Music

We play a different type of music that has not been done before. We play something called Psychedelic/Alternative. It is like mixing the psychedelic style of 60's bands like Quicksilver Messenger Service, Iron Butterfly, and The Doors, with the sound of today like STP, and Smashing Pumpkins. We have found that music today, is not of the same calibre as it was even a decade ago. Bands have one or two hit songs and you never hear from them again. In this band, we are combining the sounds of today, with the sounds of 30 years ago. The lyrics range from Zappa-like to the style of Robert Hunter and Roger Waters. The songs can range from 2 minutes to 32 minutes! We also have a jam style like that of The Grateful Dead, Phish, and Blues Traveler. We do covers of such bands as:
Led Zeppelin
Iron Butterfly
Pink Floyd
The Beatles
Frank Zappa
Stone Temple Pilots
Smashing Pumpkins
Nirvana
Jimi Hendrix
As well as many others!
As you see, we range everywhere from Beatles to Nirvana! And that is the sound; the combining sound of Out And Away!
