"POWER OF LOVE is a story of family strengths and protectiveness, of
secrets and betrayal. Shauna Michaels portrays the anguish Roxie feels
when she realizes her desire to know her roots could very well shatter her
mother's family. Added into the mix are the comic yet poignant attempts
of a little girl determined to send away this intruder into her family.
Author Michaels will have you turning the pages quickly to find out if
love will conquer all.

"THE POWER OF LOVE is an engaging story about life's second chances and
the 'power of love' to heal even the deepest hurts. Filled with lifelike
characters that draw the reader in, and a moving story of one woman's
search for her past that leads her to a possible future she never would
have dreamed of. Roxie is a strong woman with an understandable desire to
learn where she came from. Alex's strong sense of family and commitment is
evident in his actions with his young daughter as well as his brother's
family. The smooth pace brings each character to life with a seamless flow
of dialogue and narrative that touches the heart. An uncomplicated story,
yet with a rich texture often lacking in such a short venue, THE POWER OF
LOVE will charm the reader with it's grace and simplicity. I recommend THE
POWER OF LOVE for a fully satisfying read."
