Greetings to all and welcome to the House of Frihill. Come refresh yourselves with our discoveries of the past and shelter in the wonder of your future.

We at Frihill have delved into the past seeking the wisdom of The Ancients, their technology, their science, their art and their magic. From these bits and pieces we have rediscovered our past, helped to understand our present and are developing our future. Here we offer just a few of our finds.

This columned structure was found buried under tons of rubble. It is our determination that throughout history it had been believed to house some sort of terrible force. Afterall, from its condition it is evident that time and time again The Ancients had attempted to destroy it. However, they did ultimately fail and this "evil" force (it is believed) proliferated itself throughout the Euro and Amer contenents (Latin terms for our present major population centers). This is substantiated by our finds of similar structures to the one pictured, but of later construction and in much better condition.

This piece was probably created by Out Territory artisans and used as a prop or symbol in telling tales of horror concerning In Territory civilization. Notice the multiple arms instead of tenticles used to strike greater fear into children. By playing on superstitious beliefs and exaggerating the truth into a fantastic vision children were brought up to be frightened and hostile toward that which they did not understand. This could have been the basis for initial murderous actions leading to our eventual separation into Gen and Sime territories.

This piece is possibly the most deceptive of our discoveries and collection. Notice how it is impossible to determine whether it is of Sime or Gen origin (though we suspect Sime because of the craftsmenship). Some think it to be a product of the Ancients but mutilated at a more recent date. Other scholars believe the lack of arms and head is purposely meant to deceive and confuse. However the majority tend to accept the theory that the piece is of such intrinsic beauty an attempt may have been made at some time by the legendary (probably mythical) and secret House of Rathor to "neautralize it", so that its beauty could be shared and appreciated by all. The lose of a head however has led to suspicions that there may have been some other appendages emerging from it such as tenticles. This would connect it in some way to another ancient legend known as the Medusa which had snakes growing from its head. This might be the reason that Simes were once called snakes by Gens.

As you can see, these discoveries lead us to an immutable truth, that fear leads to destruction and that it was fear that lead The Ancients to destroy or alter themselves in such a cataclysmic way as to bring about the mutations which lead to humanities' present form. Born of our ancestors' fear and destruction we can work for the unity of humankind by remembering our past and its lessons to build a better future.

We are always on the look out for further discoveries which we might study and share with the general public. Please feel free to tell us of previously undiscovered historic (web)sites, ancient (clip)art, or (computer)fonts of information. To contribute your findings or suggest other theories to explain historical mysteries and the vagaries of our ancesters please write to the Committee of Historical Fact for consideration of inclusion to this page. Letters written to apinzow@aol.com will be reviewed for the Committee's scrutiny and their recommendations shall be considered by the Sectuib in Frihill at quarterly intervels.
