When called to draw in court Teresa reports the action and likeness for television news as if she was replacing a camera. These sketches are always done under great pressure of time and deadline so the courtroom artist must be well organized and flexible. In one court proceeding she had only 2 minutes to draw each person. Years ago when Teresa started she used watercolors. Now due to expediency and practicality she uses pastels.
