As a professional artist for over 30 years, Teresa Malinowski has also taught art for a school district as well as privately in Seattle, Washington and in Kodaikanal, India. Marylhurst College in Oregon instilled in her the necessary discipline and love of creating art. Her sources of inspiration are from travel and nature in which she observes changes in light and the human condition, as well as finds great peace and solace. Emily Carr, Kenneth Callahan and Kathe Kollowitz are artists Teresa finds influential.
A painting is a revelation of a discovery, not a culmination of a plan.
