From a "Questioning User" (QU9) followup to "Global Flood"--
>>RC> Considering a cubit of -ONLY- 18 inches, the ark could have been as small as 450-feet-long by 75-feet-wide by 50-feet-high, (about as BIG as an Escort Aircraft Carrier!) which would have had a capacity equivalent to about 522 railroad cars. Plenty of room for not only the animals but ROOM for thousands of people!

VERY VERY SERIOUS! You better unstop your ears and let these sayings sink down into your HEART! Instead of only "two of every sort", as Noah was ORIGINALLY told BEFORE he began to build the ark: AFTER the ark was COMPLETED; AFTER Noah had PREACHED HIS HEART OUT to those people; AFTER the "longsuffering of God -WAITED- in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing"; WHEN the last day to enter the ark finally came: NOT ONE AMONG ALL THOSE THOUSANDS HAD HEARKENED unto the word of the LORD, but had said unto God, "DEPART FROM US; FOR WE DESIRE NOT THE KNOWLEDGE OF THY WAYS."
So the LORD himself went FIRST into the ark, and said unto Noah: "COME" (not go) "Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation. Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female..." (Gen.7:1,2p)
When the people of Noah's day REFUSED to be saved, the LORD added some "ballast" creatures at the last minute so the ark wouldn't tip over from sitting too high in the water. SEVEN TIMES as many "clean" creatures were needed to fill all the -vacant- "rooms."

Get thee into the Bible and read in Exodus 8:17 where the LORD CREATED some "Insects" (your term) LONG AFTER the days of the flood. And there are places after that that mention additional creating, including many many new creatures in Christ Jesus the LORD.
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." (2Cor.5:17)

Don't strain at a gnat and swallow a camel. When "the door" is SHUT we'll see who is laughing and who is not. Noah was not laughing when "the LORD shut him in", but agonized with great sorrow of heart.
The word of faith says, That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved; Remember that Jesus is the LORD and be wise to get saved while the door is opened.
