Born in London she took a Foundation course at Camberwell School of Art from 1982-83. From 1984-85 she studied Printed Textiles at Middlesex Polytechnic and then attended the Royal Academy Schools from 1985-88. Whilst there she won the Windsor & Newton prize. 1988-91 she studied for the Royal Academy Schools, Post Graduate Diploma. In 1990 she was awarded the Creswick Landscape Prize, First Prize and Silver Medal at the RA Schools. She also had a two-man show at Cadogan Contemporary Art. She has since exhibited regularly in many exhibitions, particularly in shows at the Redfern Gallery.
