Roger Perkins was a young potter of the Camberwell School whom, in the late nineteen-seventies and early nineteen-eighties, worked along with Robin Welch and David Roberts making large decorated raku pots and dishes of very high quality. He very successfully concentrated on the contrast between blackened clay and the heavily crackled glaze.
