PMI Automation Systems SIG (potential) Timeline
What is "needed" to charter a PMI Specific Interest
Group:
-
The sponsor must first be a PMI member. (yes -
no problem - Kevin and I both are)
-
Letter of Intent and Statement of Interest must be returned to the SIG
Coordinator, and must be signed
by PMI's Executive Director and Senior SIG Council Co-Chair.
Done.
-
Dues must be set. (done - set by us @ $10,
set by PMI @ $15. It will be $15.)
-
Twenty-five paid PMI members must join the SIG.
(over 50 for last three years - we are
ready!)
-
-
A Steering Committee of at least three officers must be selected, with names
sent to the SIG Coordinator
to verify their memberships. Once valid, the SIG can request its Seed Money.
(DOING NOW!)
-
SIG Brochure must be developed. (Constitution, By-laws, and Management Plan
now too!)
-
SIG Logo must be designed according to the PMI Graphic Standards Kit.
Done.
-
IRS SS-4 form must be completed and sent to the IRS to obtain an EIN Number.
Done.
-
SIG Management Plan, Constitution and By-laws must be reviewed by SIG
Coordinator, PMI
Membership Services Manager and SIG Board Representative.
(DOING NOW!)
