| Current Status Report - We have set out the Constitution and By-laws
DRAFTS for review by the membership and received comments, etc. We have sent
out the "Invitation to Join" to a Prospects List numbering about 250 as advised
by PMI national. We will be filing the charter documents in by January 18,
2002. We expect to have a presence at PMI 2002 (where we will have our first
annual meeting of the SIG) and a presence (with a booth) at APICS 2003.
We have filled the founding officer positions and are moving forward. Will
keep you advised as usual. We have maintained an active membership
of over 50 (which is required) for over a three years without doing anything
at all nor even having a filed charter and active SIG... so the interest
in the formation of the SIG and its reason for existence has now been proven
beyond a doubt...we shall charter it THIS year!
