You don't have to tell how you live each day;
You don't have to say if you work or play;
A tried, true barometer serves in the place;
However you live, it will show in your face.
The false, the deceit that you bear in your heart;
Will not stay inside where it first got a start;
For sinew and blood are a thin veil of lace;
What you wear in your heart, you wear in your face.
If your life is unselfish, if for others you live,
For not what you get, but how much you can give;
If you live close to God, in HIS infinite grace;
You don't have to tell it, it shows in your face.

Little Things In Life
Too often we don't realize
what we have until it is gone;
Too often we wait too late to say
"I'm sorry - I was wrong."
Sometimes it seems we hurt the ones
we hold dearest to our hearts;
And we allow foolish things to tear our lives apart.
Far too many times we let
unimportant things into our minds;
And then it's usually too late
to see what made us blind.
So be sure that you let people know
how much they mean to you;
Take that time to say the words
before your time is through.
Be sure that you appreciate
everything you've got'
And be thankful for the Little Things
in Life that mean a lot.

Your worries they show
Keep your chin high

The pain is so hard
just look deep and see
the strength in your soul

You Are Unique
Be yourself.
This is the best person
And the only true person
You can be.
Don’t take away from your uniqueness
By trying to change it.
Being yourself leads to success and happiness.
Trying to be someone you aren't
Leads only to unhappiness and failure.
Use your time and energy to make the most of who you are.
To build yourself up,
Not to tear yourself down.
Be yourself.
Care about and consider the feelings
Of those closest to you,
But don’t allow others
To tell you how to think, feel, be, or live.
Only you have the right
To make these important decisions.
Only you have to live your life.

If others reject you
Don’t be too hard on yourself.
Remember their rejection has nothing to do
With who your are,
But with who they are.
Be yourself.
Accept yourself as being imperfect,
But not unloveable
For your strengths far exceed any weaknessess.
Embrace the goodness and beauty in you.
There is more there
Than you see or appreciate.

You are a part of the universe.

But by design.

Footprints in the Sand
One night a man had a dream. He dreamed he was walking
along the beach with the Lord. Across the colorful sky
flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he
noticed two sets of footprints; one belonged to him,
and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he
looked back at the footprints and noticed that many
times along the path of his life there was only one
set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened
at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord
about it.
" Lord, you said that once I decided to
believe in you, you'd walk with me all the way.
But I have noticed that during the most troublesome
times in my life, there is only one set of footprints.
I don't understand why when I needed you most you
would abandon me."
The Lord said unto him, "My precious, precious child,
I love you and would never leave you. During your
times of trial and tribulation, when you see only one
set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

I marvel at the splendor that surrounds me,
The beauty that expands from sky to sea.
Oh, God, how can I ever start to thank You
For all the wondrous things You've given me.
I thank You, Lord, for the trees that grace the woodland,
For every growing thing that's bright and fair,
For mountains high and every golden meadow,
For wherever there is beauty You are there.
I see the stars, I feel the sun,
Your majesty spreads far and wide.
I see the light, I feel Your love,
I am safe because You're at my side.

As The Angels Look Down
We grasp for the truth, as we feel a loss,
Why has life dealt these cards, and at what cost?
We search for comfort, though it's not easy to come,
The book speaks of Faith, the belief stronger in some.
As The Angels Look Down.
We see our children as the Hope in our lives,
And to teach the lessons well, we strive.
Mistakes are made, as we do our best,
At times our patience is put to the test.
As The Angels Look Down.
A reflection in the mirror, do we see what others see?
Peering through the surface, are we all we want to be?
No soul is perfect, and God has made us so,
He sees our image clearly, cant hide from what He knows.

You feel a certain strength, that comes at weaker times.
It fills you heart with Love, and you know it will be fine.
Gazing towards the Heavens, we sense a higher being,
An energy that surrounds us, without truly seeing..

A Creed to Live By
Do not undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different that each of us is special.
Do not set your goals by what other people deem important.
Only you know what is best for you.
Do not take for granted the things closest to your heart.
Cling to them as you would your life, for without them, life is meaningless.
By living in the past nor for the future.
By living your life one day at a time, you live all the days of your life.
Do not give up when you still have something to give.
Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.
Do not be afraid to encounter risks.
It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.
Do not shut love out of your life by saying it is impossible to find.
The quickest way to receive love is to give love;
The fastest way to lose love is too hold it too tightly;
In addition, the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
Do not dismiss your dreams.
To be without dreams is to be without hope;
To be without hope is to be without purpose.
Do not run through life so fast that you forget
not only where you have been, but also where you are going.
Life is not a race, but a journey to be savored each step of the way.
