Rhett (Baskips Amarhetto) came in 4th in the open Half-Arabian Reining; what a thrill!!! He also won the year-end high point trophy saddle for the NM Reining club!!! That's my boy!!

Comet Hyautake

Last winter, March 1996, there was the most spectacular comet!!! It didn't receive the 'press' that Hale-Bopp is getting in 1997, but for those of us in northern N.M. who live far from light pollution, it was much more fabulous that Hale-Bopp, for it was directly over head, and the tail covered at least one third of the sky. For 2 weeks many of us slept outside and just stared; we were blessed and blown away by such an awesome gift!!!
