Neetz' Voyager Fiction!

Hi, guys! Yes, everyone knows me as Neetz, but I'm also known as Annita K. Smith. The blame for the nickname goes to my Cousin Bonnie! And, although I've been a Star Trek fan since the original series, it's all Cousin Steve's fault for getting me back into Voyager! Everything else on this page is my fault! However, a little credit must be shared!

Thanks to all the people at Star Trek: Voyager for providing me with this wonderful obsession. Special thanks to Robbie McNeill and Roxann Dawson for making Tom and B'Elanna so wonderful, to Robert Picardo for bringing Doc to life and to the rest of the cast for making these people seem like old friends.

I'd like to post a public "thank you" to Josh Clark (our beloved Lt. Joe Carey, long absent, but never forgotten) for his kind words and encouragement regarding the "Carey On" series. For anyone who hasn't met him, do yourself a favor, get to a convention where he appears! "Carey On"

Since this series has grown so much, I thought it might be easier for you guys if I set them apart from the rest. They are listed below in the order in which they were written. If you haven't read them, give them a try, cause there's still lots of our other favorites in the stories in this series. And besides, Joe Carey is a great guy!

"Uncle Joe"

(08/10/97) B'Elanna suffers some unexpected side-effects from an allergic reaction... and it could prove more than Joe Carey can deal with! (A little PT.)

"Friends and Family"

(09/13/97) Something's bothering Joe Carey and B'Elanna repays her debt while learning a little more about her friend.

"Mars, Bars and Vintage Cars"

(12/03/97) Joe Carey and Tom Paris go on a routine away mission, end up in a struggle for their lives against the forces of nature and find they have more in common that they would have thought.

"Making Memories (or A Very Carey Christmas)"

(12/16/97) Something for Christmas 1997! Christmas past brings a Christmas present for this future Christmas on the Starship Voyager! More Joe with Tom and B'Elanna, too!

"Emotional Resonance"

(9/8/98) Another view of the episode "Hunters." Ever wonder about that letter Janeway reads at the beginning?

"Just Being There"

This story is a coda to the episode "Real Life." I really liked the scene near the end with Tom and the Doctor, but I wanted more. See what you think.

"Worst Case Scenario - Missing Scene"

Okay, that's not much of a title, but this little scene takes place near the end of the episode between Seska's demise and the gathering in the mess hall. Let me know if you like it.

"Memories After Midnight"

Some memories, and some fears, grow larger in the night. P/T (the beginnings). This is a tag to "The Chute"

"Over the Edge"

Following the events of "Blood Fever", a misunderstanding brings Tom's life crashing down around him.

"Three Wishes"

(08/04/97) An alien gift could change Tom's life forever. But will it be a blessing or a curse?

"Pieces of Dreams"

(08/24/97) Sequel to "Over the Edge." The nightmare of a childhood memory makes Tom realize he still has some issues to deal with.

"*Goodbye...*"

(09/13/97) An addition to "The Gift." The crew of Voyager says a final goodbye to Kes.

"It's Only Love"

(10/15/97) WARNING: NC-17!! CONTAINS SCENES OF A SEXUALLY EXPLICIT NATURE! PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THIS STORY UNLESS YOU ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER!!! An epilogue to "Revulsion." At the end of the episode (you know, the one with THE KISS ), B'Elanna invited Tom to her cabin later. Did anyone maybe want to know what happened?. Here's my opinion.

"...And I Will Do No Harm"

(10/25/97) A crisis in sickbay forces the doctor to make a deadly choice. He's already lost one friend. Will he lose another? And if he does, can anyone convince him he isn't guilty of murder? (This story occurs after the events of "Day of Honor" and "Revulsion" and, don't worry, there's definitely PT!).

"The Price"

(11/22/97) A compilation of missing scenes from "Random Thoughts." Tom's fears for B'Elanna's fate bring him into confrontation with the captain. Will they be able to resolve things? This story will also (hopefully) provide a little resolution to a very frustrating (for PTers) episode!

"Demon Soul"

(5/8/98)! Yes, it's another of my infamous "missing scene" pieces. B'Elanna must face a Tom Paris who isn't Tom Paris... or is he? What does she see through the windows of *his* blue eyes?

"Portrait"

(9/8/98) WARNING: NC-17!! CONTAINS SCENES THAT IMPLY SEXUAL SITUATIONS! PLEASE DO NOT ACCESS THIS STORY UNLESS YOU ARE 18 YEARS OR OLDER!!!! Just a short little scene that I HAD to write.


I'm including two more stories here. These aren't new. In fact, they appeared in the multi-media zine Pywacket's Eclectica. Since the zine has sold out and reprints are not planned, I'm posting them here. Keep in mind, they are early works in my Voyager period, but I hope you enjoy them.

"The Test"

First Time in Cyberspace! (9/8/98)! Tom and Tuvok are in for more than they bargained for on an away mission that turns into a test of friendship and compassion.

"Careful What You Wish For"

First Time in Cyberspace! (9/8/98)! A character study of two people who look back from one moment in time to the events that brought them there. This was my FIRST P/T story! Hope it holds up!


"A New Day"

(09/19/98) Just a romantic little "morning after" story. Could be a tag to "Day of Honor," but I'll let you decide.

"Choices"

(09/20/98) Tom is with B'Elanna but his very happiness scares him, and he wonders about the decisions he's made in his life. A friend shows him how things might have been. This one is a little different.

"Just Being There: Part II"

(02/07/98) An addition to "Gravity." Voyager is gone, and Tom must deal with is feelings of loss, but who can help him? The Doctor repays his debt to his young friend.
