To renew your registration for the coming year, referees must

  1. Attend 4 hours of USSF In-Service Training during the previous 12 months,
  2. Attend 1 hour of USSF In-Service Training on changes in the Laws after September 1 and before October 31 of the current year.
  3. Pass a re-certification exam,
  4. Complete a USSF Registration Form and SRPC Form 001,
  5. For Grade 7 & Grade 8, include $30.00 ($25.00 for registration plus $5.00 In-service Training)
  6. And return before October 31 to:

If you do your part by the October 31, the SYRA, will send you a post card confirming that your registration has been processed. If you do not get a post card within 4 week of doing your part, call your DRA. If you or your DRA delays the process, your registration will be delayed and your badge will be late.

You are registered when your registration has been processed by the SYRA - NOT when the registration is given to the DRA. If you have a problem that your DRA cannot correct, call the SYRA.

Referee Upgrades

You must contact the SRA personally if you want to be considered for upgrade. In fact, calling the SRA should be your first step to avoid misunderstanding and delays. Your DRA can not do this for you!

Law Changes

In the information age of instant communication, there is the risk of the misinformed leading others astray with their personal understandings. This is why the USSF has determined instruction is to be provided only by qualified USSF instructors. Do not believe any Law changes on the Internet until it has been presented at your USSF In-Service Training Session.
