The
"Hash"
The last of the Great
Hudsons
Last Update 12/01/2004
In 1954 Hudson Motor Car Company merged with Nash Motors. From 1955 to 1957 (the last years of Hudson MCC) the cars were built with Nash bodies. They still carried the Hudson name plate. The Hudson "V" or triangle that had become so well known to Hudson folks carried over in the distinctive Hudson grill. Eventually these cars became affectionately known as "Hash's". They are also known among the owners of these great cars as Kenosha Hudsons, as that is where the Hudson Motor Car company built these cars for the last three years.
