William Bullock and Magdalene Hickman

There is no documented connection to this couple in my personal research at this time. The information given on The Bullock Home Page, by Joe F. Bullock, has been more thoroughly researched and result in the logical belief that these are the parents of John Henry Bullock. This is reportedly based on the findings of Betty L. Gibbs.

John Henry Bullock and Elizabeth Wilburn

were the parents of James Buchanan Bullock. He was their 11^th child.

James was born in Fox Springs, Overton County, Tennessee on February 26, 1859. He married Louise Crane (c. 1884).They had one son, George W. Bullock. Louise died of unknown causes in 1892. Nothing more is known of Louise. Any information about her would be most welcome.

2^nd Wife: Mary (Unknown) Looper

James then married (c. 1896) Mrs. Mary (Unknown) Looper, a widow with three children, Lee V. Looper, Addi L. Looper, and Thomas Looper. Mary bore James two daughters. Around 1900, James moved to Oklahoma. Mary Bullock died sometime before 1908, and perhaps before 1900. The children born of this union were:

3^rd Wife: Nellie Caroline (unknown) Garrett

James married Mrs. Nellie Caroline (Unknown) Garrett, a widow with at least two children, Claude Garrett and Susie Garrett, on May 30, 1908 in LeFlore County, Oklahoma. He died December 22, 1938 in Cameron, LeFlore County, Oklahoma and is buried in Greenhill Cemetery. There were no children from this late marriage.

George W. Bullock and Bettie G. Davis

George W. was born in Overton County, Tennessee on May 06, 1885, the only child of James B. Bullock and Louise Crane Bullock. His mother died when he was seven years old and it is believed he was raised by his father and stepmother, Mary. He married Bettie G. Davis about 1904 in Tennessee or Oklahoma. He and Bettie had seven children. She died in 1943. He died September 29, 1954 in Cameron, LeFlore County, Oklahoma and is buried in Greenhill Cemetery there.
