Sire: Gadfael de Blue Swann

Dam: Pye Purr's Union Jackie

Shown here at 10 months old. Blue female, breeder Marguerite Martin.

We primarily show in The Cat Fanciers Association; CFA. I enjoy showing the cats and Gordon is involved with clerking at the shows. Both of us are members of the CFA breed council; a group of dedicated breeders within CFA that attend to any changes in the written standard for our breed. For further information about the CFA breed council please feel free to contact me. The British Shorthair is known throughout the world, but of course it was first developed in it's native country; Great Britain. GCCF, The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy was the first association to recognize the British Shorthair as an individual breed. Within the US there are a couple of other associations. TICA and ACFA; these associations as well as more information about the cat fancy can be accessed through The Cat Fanciers homepage. Though we've worked with nearly every color of British Shorthairs recognized in CFA, at this time we are primarily working with Blue Solids and Silver Tabbies.
