There's not a lot to tell!
* I was a member of the award winning Martin High School Sundancers from 1991 - 1993. (Yes, I'm older than you thought!) During our '93 competition season, we were one of the few teams to ever score a perfect score of 100. In 1992 and 1993 I was selected as a Marching Auxiliaries All-American, and I was invited to perform in the Florida Citrus Bowl Halftime Show in 1993. What was a blast!
In school, I was a member of FCA, FHA, National Forensics League, and the Speech and Debate team.
* I was a member of the nationally-ranked Navarro College Showstoppers, and I served as Freshman Corporal. I also was a member of the 1994 NCA Nationals team. That year, the Showstoppers placed in the top ten. In 1995, they were one point away from National Champions! They have been ranked in the top 5 every year since.
* I had the same director in high school and college, Miss Staci Stephens. She is a former Dallas Mavericks Dancer, former TCU Showgirls Captain, and is a member of the Marching Auxiliaries staff. It was wonderful to have her for three years. I couldn't wish for a better director.
* Currently, my only involvement in dance is this webpage, my season tickets to the Ft. Worth/Dallas Ballet, and my dance and cheer magazine subscriptions! LOL!
* I have never taken a formal dance class. I was granted with enough talent from God. (And a really good director!)
* I am married, and have an adorable little girl who is on a competitive cheerleading squad. Also, I am working to complete my majors in Kinesiology and Business. I hope to open a competitive and preparatoy cheer and dance gym when I graduate.
Not what you pictured? Well, I don't have a list of awards or years of dance classes to brag about. What I do have is an intense love of dance.
