This page is graphic intensive, please be patient.

What can anyone say? Our town has been devastated by this tragedy. The only thing I can say is give your kids extra hugs, you never know. I have seen a lot of ribbons around the internet but I wanted to let everyone know that the real ribbon looks like this, it is blue with a silver stripe down the middle for the official school colors of Columbine High School. For those of us who live in Littleton we are still numb, but we do appreciate everyone's thoughts and prayers.

Take this Ribbon and place it on your page in support of the kids who lost their lives or were injured in this senseless act of violence.

Our Calling

Long ago - far away

The Star of Bethlehem

Showed them the way

Embracing all within its light

For the Son of God was born that night

His Gift of Love and Everlasting Life

Known by many names - This Son of His

Venturing forth and preaching throughout the land

Gathering His disciples by the hand

One Great Teacher with twelve students

His message spreading far and wide

Thunder clashed and lightning flashed

With His Mother by His side - He was crucified

Darkness and sorrow fell upon the ground

Midst it all we rejoice - For His Sacrifice

Forgave our sins and brings us eternal life

This was His calling given from above

Two millenniums have passed by

Now the tragic day at Columbine High

Oh My! What a shock how can this be?

Darkness and sorrow falling upon the ground

The Nation weeps with grieving hearts

For innocent souls and families torn apart

When it was over what was found

Another calling from above

Twelve students with one teacher

Now disciples of His World

Angels above us on high

Their souls freed on the wings of doves

Now shower us with His Love

His message should be pure and clear

As we live on with their memory

Open our hearts - Believe in His Word

Hand in hand let the truth stand

A better World it will be - If only we all agree

Together we can make a difference

So when the time comes

We will be ready for "Our Calling"

The city of Littleton has taken a new slogan, the Three "R's". We need to get on with the three "R's", Reunite, Recover and Rebuild. The wounds are beginning to heal but there will be lasting scars in everyone's heart.
