Chocolate Pound Cake

2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 cup Crisco
1/2 cup oleo (Mazola)
3 eggs
1/4 tsp soda
1 cup sweet milk
1 tsp vanilla

Cream sugar and shortening well.
Add eggs, one at a time, beat after each.
Sift flour, soda and cocoa together.
Add 1/3 of the flour mixture, beat well.
Add 1/2 of the milk; beat well.
Continue to add and beat after each addition
of flour and milk, ending with flour.
Add vanilla and mix well.
Bake in greased and floured tube cake pan
1 hour and 15 minutes at 325 degrees.
Turn on cake rack to cool.
