Grilled Veal Chops
and Sweet Bell Peppers


2 large garlic cloves, crushed
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
2 medium red bell peppers, quartered
1 tbsp plus 2 tsp olive oil, divided
4 well trimmed veal loin or rib chops,
cut 1 inch thick
Salt

Prepare grill.
In small bowl, combine 1 tbsp of the oil,
garlic and black pepper.
Lightly brush pepper quarters
with 2 tsps of oil.
Place chops and peppers on grill;
cook, turning occasionally,
12 to 14 minutes, or until
veal is cooked medium and
peppers are tender.
Season chops with salt.
