You are cleared to land.  You will be number .  Stop in and relax a while!

Hello and thank you for stopping by.  I hope to use this location as a place to keep updated information on fly-ins and other special events as they pass over the desk.  In addition to those items of interest, check here for news that effects BKV pilots and/or aircraft owners that we are made aware of.  Again, happy flying.

Current News (Updated 11/13/2005)

Runway Report

The dog days of summer are upon us in full bloom and heat.  Ron recently mowed every blade of weed and the place looks good.  The runway hasn't been rolled for awhile so you will encounter some loose stones on the surface.  This should not be a problem for landing aircraft.  For departure I would recommend using soft field techniques or simply just adding power slowly and evenly.

Fuel Availability

The fuel at BKV has been extremely reasonable.  Well, prices just skyrocketed on the heels of the problems with the Alaskan pipeline.  Check our Fees page for current prices.  As always, based-aircraft receive a discount.

As always, it is good to have aviation lovers drop by and enjoy the down-home atmosphere of BKV.
