is Blue Knob Valley Airport (7G4). We are located on the Detroit sectional and are 8.1 nm northwest of the AOO VOR on the 300° radial. For you GPS flyers, that would be latitude 40º 23' 45.263", longitude 78º 27' 14.052". The runways are 11-29 with the threshold to Rwy 11 displaced 300'. The runway is 3425' x 90' and consists of rolled slate. The airport is located eight miles south of the city of Altoona and seven miles northwest of Blue Knob ski resort.
