A native Chicagoan, studied voice with Wilma Osheim at the American Conservatory of Music.
A member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra Chorus from 1970 to 1983.
As Professional Status (2nd chair), was elected Bass Union Representative to the
American Guild of Musical Artists (AGMA) in 1980. Has performed on numerous
Grammy Winning Recordings as well as Concerts in Carnegie Hall with the CSO.
A recipient of the Margaret Hillis Fellowship Award in 1981,1982 and 1983.
Served on the faculty of the Fine Arts Academy, Inc. Chicago. from 1979 to 1983.
Founded and Directed this Institutions Concord Singers.
Was the Contracted Bass Soloist for the Second Presbyterian Church of Chicago from 1979 to 1987
