Once you have made an appointment with me, I keep that spot for you and turn away all other clients who request it. In order for me to be able to put your spot back on the market and offer it to other clients, I need a minimum of 48 hours notice from you in the event of cancellation. If you give me at least 48 hours notice, you will incur no monetary penalty for cancelling, and you will be able to reschedule your appointment without having to pay again. If you give less than 48 hours notice, you are financially responsible for the appointment, and will not be able to reschedule without paying for another appointment. For all cancellations, please call AND email me, to make sure I get the message. If I do not answer the phone, you can simply leave a voicemail, and as long as your voicemail is time-stamped by the deadline, that will be acceptable. I am sorry to have to take such a hard stand on the cancellation policy, but some people are unfortunately very flaky and make appointments that they don't take seriously. You can get a discount by pre-paying for a package of 5 lessons ($375) or 10 lessons ($700). If you are in the "pay-as-you-go" plan, no refunds will be made. You are allowed to cancel and reschedule at no additional cost as long as you give 48 hours advance notice, but there are no refunds for that plan. but only if the following applies: If you buy one of the lesson packages offered (set of 5 lessons for $375 or set of 10 lessons for $700) "sight unseen"-- in other words, without ever having come in and taken a lesson-- and then you come to your first appointment and decide that you do not want to continue because the lessons are not to your liking, then you will receive a full pro-rated refund on the remainder of your lessons, as long as you tell me in person by the end of that first appointment, and as long as the other appointments are more than 48 hours away. For example, if you had purchased the set of 5 lessons for $375 and decided at the end of your first appointment that you were dissatisfied and wanted to discontinue the rest of the lessons, then you would receive a refund in the amount of: $375 minus the fee for one single lesson, which is $80, for a total pro-rated refund of $295. |
