Welcome to my webpage devoted to the most delicious fruit on earth, BANANAS! As you can probably tell from the theme of this page, I love bananas! I worship Chiquita and I think she is the goddess of all good things... in fact here she is, you can even hear her sing!

I must let you know, not only do I eat bananas, but so does Monkums, my awesome monkey. I own the biggest collection of banana related things in Myersville, MD. Things like banana magnets, banana flavored candy, stuffed bananas, and I've got lots of monkey stuff too.

The cluster
of bananas sold in stores are actually called hands, not bunches. A bunch
is a fifty-pound cluster that consists of many hands, each with a dozen or
so bananas attached.
The banana cannot reproduce itself. It can be
propagated only by the hand of man. Further, the banana is not a tree. it
is a herb, the largest known of all plants without a woody stem or solid
trunk.
The country of Tonga once issued a stamp shaped
like a banana.
Putting bananas in the refrigerator will delay their ripening. The
skin turns brown but the fruit inside does not change!!
