lives in eastern nc. I think some of my decendents were from chatam county.
while cleaning out my grandfathers barn i found old barbee documents dating

- You and my husband and children are probably cousins somewhere along the
line. My husband, Mike Barbee, grew up in Bethesda. His father Paul (deceased)
also grew up in Bethesda, but his family originated in North Carolina. Mike's
mother, Helen, knows a lot about the North Carolina Barbees. We have 4 Barbee
children (and 2 Foster children) and have lived in Derwood for 21 years.
