Beacons Discovery Tours offer fully guided scenic and heritage tours of the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park, located deep in the heart of Wales. Tours range in length from an hour or two to a full day.

Our tours are especially designed for the independent and small group traveller interested in discovering the natural scenic beauty and rich cultural heritage of this wonderful National Park, through the personalised and detailed knowledge of a local guide.

Let us introduce you to:

• the breathtaking Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains with their stunningly wild and rugged scenery, cascading waterfalls and mountain streams;
• ancient buildings including serene country churches, ancient castles and ruined priories;
• sites of special industrial heritage including a coal mining museum and 19th century iron works;
• the Rhondda Valley en route to the birthplaces of Sir Anthony Hopkins and Richard Burton; and
• the little border town of Hay-on-Wye, world famous for its second-hand book shops, antiques and Welsh crafts.

We know how quickly time passes when on holiday. We also know from our own travelling experience how difficult it is to research where the best sights can be found, and how to get there. Our local guides can save your valuable time by introducing you to the best of the National Park and surrounding area. Their local information and knowledge will also give you a much better understanding of the area, making your visit more rewarding and interesting.

Our rates (Pounds Sterling) are as follows:

• £49 for 3 hours (morning, afternoon or evening)
• £89 for 6 hours (10:00am to 3:00pm)
• £15 per hour over and above these standard rates.

Our rates include your personal guide, who will guide you and your party throughout your chosen tour itinerary.
