This page is dedicated to a friend and a brother. I just want everyone to stop and think about all the people in thier lives. Remember the old times and all the memories that were made with different people. Take a moment out of your day or even week to stop and give one of them a call. Life is too short to not to take a little time to say Hi and recap on old time and catch up on new things. Dan was my best friend when I was little. We did everything together. We were so close that we were practicaly brothers. His family was my family. I moved to a different town when I was in high school. We stayed in touch for a while but then we ended up losing contact with each other. Once in awhile we would get in touch and reminisce about the old times and have fun remembering all the little things we did together. I started working a lot and lost contact even more. It got to a point where we didn't hear from each other for a couple of years. I started to think about how things were when we were little and kept saying that I was going to call him and catch up on everything. Then one day I got a call from his younger brother. Dan was hurt in an explosion at work and was in critical condition. I learned that he was engaged and going to get married to a lovely young lady. The explosion caused 3rd degree burns over 85% of his body and left him in critical condition for about 19 weeks before he lost the fight and died. I never even got a chance to catch up on things with him or ever congradulate him on his engagement. Danny was 23 when he died, was going to get married in a couple of months and he had a future to look forward to. He was the type of person that never got mad and always had a smile on his face. He made friends easy and made lots of them. I would like to ask people just to take a moment out of thier time to call someone they love, wheather it is a friend or family member and just say "Hi" and catch up on old times. You never know when something will happen that will stop or hinder you from doing so. So please, just call or write them and add an extra smile in you day for Danny.
