The following quotes are from the trailer and they go in order with the quotes listed below each section of pictures. Some of the scenes are not included in the pictures but I included the quotes anyway - like the scene between Justin and Bernice on the porch at night.

(excitedly, hugs Connie.)
Oh my gosh.
HOST
Connie is your best friend and she tells
us that she loves you very much.
BIRDEE
(smiling)
I love you too.
HOST
The last thing that she wants to
do is to hurt you in any way.
Connie.
CONNIE
Birdee.
Billy and I are having an affair.
(Birdee looks like she might puke)
AUDIENCE
Ohhhh, Ahhhhh
HOST
(happily)
Alright.
Whoa Whoa.
Int. Birdee's Car:
BIRDEE
(earnestly)
Don't look back sweetheart.
It's bad luck.
Ext. Ramona's House (Night):
RAMONA
(concerned)
You look just awful.
BIRDEE
(honestly)
Well, I feel awful Mama.
RAMONA
(matter-a-factly)
Well, you look it.
Int. Office:
RECEPTIONIST
(excited)
Ahhhh.
I saw you on television.
BIRDEE
(smiling)
Really.

Ext. Outside:
FRIEND
(matter-a-factly)
We got to see it twice.
Once central, once mountain.
Ext. Birdee's Car:
BERNICE
(laughing)
So this is where you were cream of corn.
BIRDEE
Queen of Corn honey.
Once upon a time your momma knew what it meant to shine.
Int. Ramona's Dining Room:
RAMONA
I invited Justin for dinner.
BIRDEE
This is not the time for your match-making stunts alright?!
RAMONA
(with disbelief)
Match-making?! Oh, what an imagination.
BIRDEE
(frustrated)
Ahhhhhhhh!!!
Int. Ramona's Living Room:
JUSTIN
(smiling)
Well, well, well.
Birdee, Birdee, Birdee.
RAMONA
(smiling)
You smell delicious.
You wearing cologne?
JUSTIN
That's paint-thiner.
Little sweat mixed in with it.
(Justin and Ramona laugh, Birdee looks uncomfortable,
and Bernice rolls her eyes.)
Int. Employment Office:
DOTT
(happily)
Soooo, you need a job?
I'm not likely to find a listing for prom-queen.
BIRDEE
Dott, just put me in a job.
I would really, be greatful.
(looks up slightly)

Ext. Ramona's House:
JUSTIN
You know your mother and I go way back.
BERNICE
(acts a little annoyed, Justin laughs)
I know you must.
Back home we had a skunk called Justin Matisse.
Finally mom picked up a club and killed it.
JUSTIN
(smiling)
Well that's a sad story.
BERNICE
(assuringly)
If you liked the skunk which we didn't.
Ext. Outside shopping plaza:
JUSTIN
What, would you be upset if I asked you out right now?
BIRDEE
(matter-a-factly)
What's the matter with you?
I'm a married woman.
(showing him her wedding ring)
Int. Ramona's Living Room (evening):
JUSTIN
(assuringly)
You used to be so audacious.
People would stop to watch you come down the street.
You think you've lost that.
I can still see it.
Int. Ramona's Dining Room:
BIRDEE
(telling it as it is)
I am not a quitter.
I care about my family.
Int. Ramona's Living Room (evening):
JUSTIN
(sternly)
D** Birdee! When are you gonna face
up to the fact that he ain't coming back for you!
Int. Birdee's Bedroom (morning):
RAMONA
Get out there!
Get this stink blown off'ya.
BIRDEE
I've always hated that expression Mama.
