“COMPASSION IN THE STREETS”

Homelessness has long become a crime in the city of San Francisco and across America. Anyone pushing a shopping cart will be violated for being the utterly impoverished. But lets not condemn San Francisco because other cities also have criminalized homelessness through unnecessary harassment by the city employees all the way to the top. These people don’t have a voice because even society may not admit the tabooism. But having to pass these faceless and voiceless people in the streets on they’re way to work or shopping, stepping over their helpless silhouettes laying in the middle of the sidewalk, clutching your possessions praying you’re not asked for change. Pretending not to notice they’re presence. “Avoid” We don’t really care what happens to these people of the streets. You’ve asked your politicians to deal with the problem and they criminalize the homeless in order to place these people in these concentration camps they call prisons. Most of these homeless people are mentally unstable, but they are placed behind enemy lines being abused by the same capitalistic pigs that created these people situation. So promised kept! “I promise to do this and that” and to my amazement nothing gets done. Isn’t their a law prohibiting politicians to lie to the voters? Wait my fault your votes don’t really count anymore in America’s democratic society the land of the free. Maybe that is why approximately 1 million YES! 1MILLION of homeless American children are being ignored in this country, While your tax dollars are being spent on a so-called drug war in South America. One hundred Billion plus and you’re not even winning the war. The homeless children in America can’t even get an education because your tax dollars are paying the Department of prisons 46 Billion dollars annually to abuse and maintain modern apartheid colonialism at 30 thousand dollars or more a body. Politicians have that solution down and prisons being built before schools. Knowing that without an education the only thing America is creating is a guaranteed high level of job security in the prison industrial complex. Compassion can not be learned through indifference towards another human being. You must learn to demand humanity. As a society we have engrossed ourselves in self-gratification so deep we have unknowingly given away our moral blanket of lenience. As I watched the shopping carts belonging to homeless people in San Francisco being crushed by city workers all they’re personal belongings being thrown into the garbage truck and those helpless people just watching helplessly was even sickening and inhumane to me. I find it hard to believe that the city of San Francisco could even allow that to happen towards the unfortunate ones in society. The United States government can send weapons of mass destruction to Israel in order to establish friendships and call it foreign policy. Assisting in the murder of Palestinian's. Even your own American law states you are just as culpable as the one pulling the trigger!!! But you as a government of one of the most powerful nations in the world and you can’t or won’t figure out how to deal with the homelessness. Well when you decide to deal with America’s problems you may find a solution. Two words COMPASSION & ATTEMPT!!!!!
