To Catch A Mobile Jammer

In my experience malicious interference is a measures - countermeasures situation. The mobile jammer is taking measures to avoid being identified. We understand his techniques. It is important that the jammer not know what countermeasures are in use to identify him. Therefore our countermeasures should not be generally available to the "public."

If you have a problem with a mobile jammer, please first contact one of your local leaders, such as an ARRL Section Manager or responsible club president. Have that person contact me by any convenient means to vouch for you, and giving me his contact information and your contact information. I will then communicate with you, sending information on how to proceed. I urge that the information be kept secret.
