BMG Engineering, Inc. announces the SuperDF PRO Radio Direction Finder (Patented). It was designed to meet specification provided by the U.S. Department of Defense, and has been evaluated and recommended by them for general use by all Federal agencies.

SuperDF PRO Features

Tailored specifically for the professional user who is not a Radio Direction Finding expert but who nevertheless has occasional need for this function. It is similar to the SD... line of BMG RDFs. Everything described for the SD... line applies to the PRO units. This flier describes the additional features of the PRO line.

• Zero Center DFing error meter.
• 3.5 mm Earphone jack for silent hunting.
• Batteries externally mounted for easy field replacement.
• Momentary Battery test switch (uses meter).
• VHF antenna cannot be deployed incorrectly.
• Cannot set controls in the field so as to get incorrect bearing.
• The antenna units, supplied handles, and U-bolts are black, aiding in undercover work.
• Whips are insulated over their entire length.

Who Uses SuperDF PRO?

It is in use from cities up through Federal, the U. S. Army, FCC Field Offices, the White House, commercial, and many others. HAMs use the system for sport and self-policing. Common Carrier companies use SuperDF PRO to protect service to their customers.

BARREL CONNECTOR

Used for coupling the PRO-C2 to any antenna to form a single-unit handheld RDF.

U-BOLT & HANDLE

For each antenna, black.

Unless otherwise specified the PRO-C2 is supplied:

• Wired with high reliability metal housing 3.5 mm earphone type plug to mate with buyer's receiver external speaker jack.
• Wired with high reliability Male BNC to mate with buyer's receiver antenna input jack.
• Adjusted to work with the Radio Shack PRO-34 scanner. (The buyer can readjust at any time.)

How do I Hook Up SuperDF PRO?

The antenna is connected to the back of the control unit with (BMG provided) male-male barrel connector, or any length of coax line. The control unit has cables that will plug into the owner's radio antenna connection and earphone jack. BMG provides BNC connector and 3.5 mm connector to mate with the radio.

Technical Support and Warranty

Within 90 days of purchase, if the buyer is not completely satisfied he may return the unit and receive a refund. Any damage or wear and tear on returned equipment will be deducted from the refund. Parts and labor warranty of 1 year. Factory service is available for units after the warranty. Technical and hunting advice is available free of charge for the life of the unit (telephone charges on your telephone number). 9 April 1995
