Bubba in the wild outside days!

Meollo!! My name is Bubba and I will be 11 years old in March. Mom bought me in April of 1988 at a pet store in Altus, Oklahoma. Me and my sister were waiting to adopt a mom and I saw a beautiful blonde with huge hazel eyes staring down at me so I batted my baby blues and fluffed up real big to get her attention. She fell in love with me instantly and scopped me up and took me to my new home.

Bubba lookin purdy handsome!

We lived in an apartment for awhile. It was so small. I started pawing on the front door because I watched mom leave everyday and I wanted to see where she was going. I pawed and pawed on the door. I practiced every night. I drove mom nuts doing that!!! I really don't know why I still do this. I guess I'm clueless!!! Now we live in a bigger apartment with the cool vertical blinds on the big window and I absolutely LOVE to paw at those. They make all sorts of racket and mom must love it because she hoots and hollers when I do it. She also throws things at me which I just look at for a sec then I start pawing again.

Above you will find one of my sleeping places. I also like to sleep under the couch, behind the headboard of moms bed, and in the cat hammock in moms bedroom window. My newest place is in a cool cat bed mom bought for me. It's in the corner of the living room (next to those musical blinds). I can watch the birdies from there.

Stretched Out For a Nap!

Mom kept me inside for the first few years of my life. Then, during my frisky days, I was a wild tomcat. I roamed the neighborhoods and had the run of about 2 blocks. Wow, I sure ran free then. But out in the great wide open I got in lots of trouble. I came home with fleas and ringworm and towards the end I was bit on my back by a d..o..g!!! Arghhhhh!! My boo-boo got infected and I had to have surgery. I was 5 years old back then. After that happened, I have been a cool indoor cat ever since.

King Bubba

I have been an indoor cat for the last 6 years. Mom gives me lots of lovin and I have my kid Tony to watch after. Tony chases me around and I hiss at him so he knows I am king. Some things I like to do to pass time (besides sleeping) is to cuddle up on moms lap while she surfs the net or stretch out over her chest and tickle her ear with my whiskers. I love chewing on moms hair. She's special to me. I love mom furryfuls!! She laughs at me when I sit on the couch and start attacking the buttons on the back cushions.. A few months ago we got an addition to our family. Her name is Cleo and she is a cute little girl cat. I think I like her but I'm still not too sure. She already knows I'm the king!!!!
