Connie is a nurse practicioner with the Women's Clinic at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque.  She has done so many GYN exams in her lifetime that she thought is was kinda funny that she ended up doing one at home too.

DOCTORIN'

Now donkeys are mostly a real sturdy lot
They tend to stay sound vaccinated or not

But one mornin when brayin’ didn’t rattle the windows
I went out to find that mine had influenza

I called up the vet and she made the connection
Suggestin’ I treat secondary infection

So I dosed ‘em with sulfer and shot penicillin
Put ‘em nights in the barn just to keep ‘em from chillin’

I coaxed ‘em an nursed ‘em and set mashes warmin’
Then checked them for fever at 5 in the mornin’

I held up their tails propped the light ‘neath my chin
And thermometer in hand I went huntin’ ass-ends

Well then I just chuckled! The joke seemed to be
That I don’t often hunt ‘em ... They mostly find me!
