See Our New Pond!!! or Mysterious Statue Page or My Indoor Pond   My Husband Dave and my Son David built this rose arbor at the entrance to my pond area in 1996 To the right I have 6 different varieties of Roses also Iiris and my barrel of Chives. Now peek into my pond area! On the left is my pond, under my kitchen window. and straight ahead you'll see my flower garden in full Spring bloom! Here is more Rose bushes, Wisteria, Zebra grass, Peonies, Hosta's, Coreopsis, Iris, Day Lilies, Hen & Chicks, Shasta Daisys, Tiger Lilies, Moss Roses, Marigolds, and my favorite, Foxglove. Another closer look at the flowers! Take a closer look at my bird bath. It is constructed of a 15 gallon stock water with a small ring of hardware cloth surrounding the pump. I have pour pebbles in until there is two inches of water over them. I have made a mini-bio filter to put the pump into. I have run a hose from the pump up a wrought iron hook that holds a watering can. The hose runs into the watering and spills out the spout, breaking the flow into a soft spray. I have put in some parrots feather and another unidentified water plant. I haven't hidden the hose yet. Now see my pond accross the way. It is a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank dug into the ground, leaving 2" above. Behind is a 40 gallon bog container and to the side a 50 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank used for bog and water plants. I have two varieies of hardy water lilies, Mariac Rosea, and Roxannes's pink. Also you'll find Parrot's Feather, Anacaris, Taro, Umbrella plant, Japanese Iris, Purple Loosestrife, Water Forget-me-not.and Astibule. And of course, our twenty goldfish and 2 koi.
