Christ’s Church at Virginia Tech (CCVT) Campus Ministry is a non-denominational Christian community of students...

... who are striving to know Jesus Christ and love Him more than anything. (John 14:6: "Jesus said, I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father but through Me.")

... who believe the Bible is the infallible Word of the one and only true God, and therefore embrace it as our first & final authority for faith & practice as it contains all the truth needed for salvation and living in Christ. (2 Timothy 3:16, Hebrews 4:12)

... who strive to put our faith in action, to keep growing in our knowledge and love for God, and transform our world by living as Jesus lived. (James 2:14-26, Colossians 1:9-12, Romans 12:1-2)

... who seek to be Christ-centered in our everyday lives in both our words and deeds, and reach out to others with the saving love of Jesus Christ. (1 John 2:1-6, John 3:16-17, Matthew 28:18-20)

... who seek to pray to God about all our needs and concerns, asking God to provide for our needs, and thanking Him for all He has done, knowing that He can do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine! (Philippians 4:6, Ephesians 3:20)

CCVT Campus Ministry's mission simply is — to LOVE GOD and to LOVE PEOPLE (Mark 12:30-31). We hope to do this by providing a place where you will always be welcome. A place where you can make friends with others who are searching, and learning just like you. A place where you can grow closer to God. A place where you can share with friends who are going through the same struggles and where you can get the support that you need to apply Jesus' teachings to your everyday life. A place where you will not only survive, but thrive, as together we grow deeper in our faith, and strive with God's help to become more like Christ by seeking to serve others and share the Good News of Jesus.

  • To understand that God loves you, & deeply desires to have a real, personal relationship with you.

  • To understand the incredible depth of God's love for you, & how He showed us His love for us in sending His very own, one and only Son, Jesus Christ to die for us.

  • To really get to know God & to love Him with all of your heart and through your actions.

  • To commit to growing, with God’s help, to become everything God intends you to be.
