Hello all, and welcome to Ascendant Strains....championing the triumph of pure heavy metal, so eagerly overrun and forgotten by the trends of the moment, the corporate sponsors of music, and most of the world....left only to the true fans to hold dearly in their hearts. I sincerely hope you enjoy this, and find some of the information contained herein helpful. I've included some suggested mail order sources for each imported CD, and their addresses are listed at the back. Also, please note, although, due to space confines, legal requirements, and general selection difficulties, there are no lyrics posted with this site....I do however, have a lyric archive of over 500 metal albums, including lyrics to albums or CD's that do not usually come with them, such as Manowar's Battle Hymns, etc...All these lyrics are to the best of my knowledge official lyrics from some source, not transcriptions of some people's best idea of the lyrics with question marks. If you're looking for any lyrics in computer format, just send me an e-mail, and I'd be glad to send you them via E-mail if I have them!
