I was pretty fine with the injections, except that my Hemoglobin A1C was
9.8, and the normal should be around 5. When I went to the pump, which may
I add, was at 11:11 AM, 11/11/96, I could eat whatever at whatever time.
My Hemoglobin A1C is now 6.8, and that's much closer to normal. On the other
hand, my sugars will sometimes go up when I am off the pump for a few hours;
I can't have this thing holding on to me while I take Tae Kwon Do and Judo
classes. Overall, the pump is much better than injections.
