The Sunrise-Mayel No. 1, spudded on 12/15/2000 at dusk near Delano, CA, was

named after the late Mayel Inwald, the staunchest of Tri-Valley shareholders

and a working interest owner in several Tri-Valley drilling ventures including

the Sunrise project. She passed away 8-15-00 but knew the initial test well

would be named after her.
