Prenatal and early childhood classes are plentiful, but frequently it is difficult to find support and information to guide us through the teenage years. The struggle to emerge as an independent adult can be painful for Mom, Dad, and adolescents -- especially in today’s world. Friend, Inc. is introducing a six-week video and discussion program, “Active Parenting of Teens.” This course will help parents meet the challenges of parenting teens and preteens in today’s turbulent society and provide parents with the skills they need to communicate effectively, encourage better behavior, use positive discipline techniques and teach responsibility.
Call to reserve space in this group and come meet other parents of teens. It is comforting to have the support and encouragement of other parents.
