A. Proverbs 18:17 says “The first to present his case seems right, till another comes forward and questions him.” We like to be confident in our beliefs, and this is a good thing most of the time. For example, we’re supposed to study the scriptures diligently and discern the word of truth. But when dealing with the future, man is not really in a position to be certain about very much.
