Information Line

This information line has been running successfully since March 7th, 1999. It took over 6 months of development and hundreds of hours of script writing, with an investment of over $1000 into hardware and software. We now have over 800 scripts of information recorded which provides in-depth information about groups, organizations, businesses, and help and support, as well as an area for visitors and newcomers, all of which is available 24 hours a day! We have a complete section that has recorded publications, for those that wish to listen to useful and important information covering a wide range of topics. We continually add new area's and update current information,all of which is volunteered.

This Information Line receives an average of 300 hundred calls each and every month covering a wide variety of needs and requests from both residents and people visiting from out-of-town. Many callers are also interested in social activities and local bars. Naturally, Common Bond also receives calls from people who are questioning their sexuality or beginning their coming out process and is seeking a safe place to meet other gay and lesbians.
