Corwyn Titleholders

Champions Conformation Shows evaluate pointers based on physical characteristics. Pointer type and movement are evaluated by AKC Judges who
award Championship points to those they deem worthy. 15 points, including 2 majors (3 points or more), are required for an AKC Championship Title...

Hunting Titles Hunting titles are judged on standards evalutated by pairs of judges. Corwyn competes mainly in Hunting Tests. A Junior Hunter title requires the dog to demonstrate hunting, bird finding, pointing, trainability and the ability to work under gunfire and with a bracemante. Senior & Master level hunting titles also require the dog to demonstrate steadiness to wing & shot and retrieving, Master at an extremely finished level with limited handler assistance.

Obedience Titles Obedience titles are obtained by demonstrating, at each level, skills required by AKC, including heeling, coming, staying , both on and off lead, and, at upper levels, jumping, retrieving and hand signals. Visit the AKC website to learn more! 3 qualifying legs are required to earn each title.

APC Versatility Award The American Pointer Club has instituted a Versatility Award, given to dogs who achieve in the three areas of COnformation (show), Field and Performance (Obedience, Rally and/or Agility).
