My Day
Being a single parent is hard. Everyday has been a struggle for me . I
wake up everyday at five o'clock in the morning. I get my two kids
ready including myself. I leave my six year old with my neighbor in the
mornings so I can catch the bus at six fifty to drop off my two year old at
daycare. I then catch the bus again to go to school. It takes three buses
for me to get to school on time. I get to school at eight thirty, I stay until
three thirty or four.
After school I catch the three buses again to go home. I get home stay
there for an hour, then I get back on the bus and pick up my kids from
daycare. The reason I have to go home for an hour before picking up my
kids is that the bus only passes every so often by the daycare. Once we get
home after a long day I make them dinner, bath them, then get them ready for
bed. Were in bed by eight o'clock everyday. This is an everyday thing. I
know things are going to get better in the long run. All of this struggling will
pay off!
