He married Mary Elizabeth Sweatt in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas, 10/1/1866, by Methodist Minister Reverend Burke.

NOTE FROM BILL B. LOFTIN Their marriage was witnessed by A. B. Crow. This name was on certificate in family bible. I don't know if this is a relative of her's or not.

D.L. was the father of:

  1. Minerva Ann " Annie" Garrison was born in Henderson, Rusk County, Texas, 12/19/1867.

  2. George Henry Garrison 1/27/1870.

  3. Luther Garrison 9/14/1873.

  4. Lula Garrison 9/14/1873.

  5. Margaret Alice Garrison 2/6/1876.

  6. William M."Will" Garrison 2/28/1878.

  7. James Robert Garrison 3/3/1880.

Luther and Lula Garrison were twins.

D.L. died 12/23/1910 in Hillsboro, Hill county, Texas, at 66 years of age.
